Rural Non-congregate Feeding Sites (RNC) Distribution Sites
6/11/2025
Rural Non-congregate feeding sites provide free, nutritious meals to children in eligible rural communities during the summer months, when school is out and access to school-provided meals is unavailable. Unlike traditional summer meal sites that require children to eat onsite at set times, non-congregate sites offer flexible options — allowing parents or guardians to pick up meals and take them home for their children. This approach helps remove transportation, scheduling, and access barriers that often prevent rural families from participating in summer nutrition programs.
Who is eligible?
Children and teens ages 1-18 qualify for this program - no registration or proof of income is required!
Each child must be present at pickup, IF NOT, the parent/guardian must bring one of these documents:
- Official Letter/email from school listing children enrolled
- Individual student report cards
- Attendance record from parent portal of school website
- Birth certificate for children not in school
- Student ID cards
